It's so hard to review worship albums - particularly this one! You see, a good half of this release is seemingly spontaneous, and while there is nothing wrong with spontaneous worship per se, it always tends to be musically unadventurous because of its nature. When there are six or more such compositions - as there are here - I'm afraid to say that in a studio setting it doesn't really come off. On the more structured songs such as opener "Give Me One Reason" and "Freedom", Jason's freewheeling and committed style really shines out, and on some of the piano ballads he sounds eerily like Billy Joel, but I'm afraid that much of the record misses the mark.
