I am totally at a loss as to which category to put this album into. Jason Upton is a singer/songwriter/producer who has been compared in his native Canada with Keith Green. For the most part Jason's style seems to be to go into a studio on his own with a piano and simply record what God gives him. Jason has been recording for about seven years now. His style is unconventional, highly original, uncompromising and definitely not easy listening. In places it can stray into the self-indulgent and with three or four songs clocking in at more than eight minutes but if you want to explore the ecstatic highs and occasional lows of extemporized prophetic worship you'll find moments here that will thrill and uplift you. The most accessible song is the title track.
