Following on from his outstanding EP Jason's full length debut is a pretty strong offering. Finely supported by his backing band Eaton is both intensely expressive as he delivers these 10 tracks with both crystal clear lyrics and a rock edge. Eaton and his band sound a bit like a cross between U2 and a Vineyard Worship band while the songs are both radio-friendly and passionately worshipful. They range from contemporary hymns like "Higher Than I" to rock anthems such as "Someday Soon". A standout for me was "Free" which celebrates our liberty in Christ and brings us to a place of standing humbly before God knowing that we are forgiven. I would like to have seen more depth in other lyrics displayed here and I feel that we would benefit from Jason offering more vulnerable and honest lyrics rather than simply staying basically on the happy surface of Christian experience. Nevertheless, there is much here to admire.
