Janna Long has the most fantastic voice - soulful, passionate and powerful. One quarter of the group, Avalon, Janna now weighs in with this solo project. It is an upbeat collection of love and worship songs with catchy choruses and gospel-pop sounds. I have to admit then when I first listened to this album I wasn’t all that impressed. Yes, she has an incredible, R&B-tinged voice, but I found the songs a little clichéd. The same unimaginative one-liners that just seem to get passed from CCM artist to CCM artist – something I get on my soapbox about. Yet the more I listened to it the more I enjoyed the overall fun and joyfulness of the album.
