A second album from James Grear & Co as they spearhead a fresh R&B gospel sound. Their debut album 'Don't Give Up' from a couple of years back won them a Stellar nomination and plenty of attention, so this is eagerly awaited by gospel fans. Building on the same contemporary sound and slick vocal performances, the eight-piece outfit deliver big time! From the opening soulful gospel of "Power" through the inspirational, understated R&B of "Believe In Yourself" with its powerful message and groove to the driving "What Kind Of Friend Are You", complete with its excellent remix, this is top quality stuff. If you re looking for something slower and moody, there's the passionate pleading prayers of "Set Me Free" and the healing in the heartbreak song "Oh Please". Even poppier stuff like "Bless His Name" works well. Slick, well-executed R&B gospel from a group going places.
