Cross Rhythms radio listeners will remember when, back in 2012, we gave mucho airplay to Jacob's charmingly catchy "It's OK" which he recorded when Jacob was a mere 14 years old. Three years later the singer/songwriter from Wednesbury, West Midlands has returned with his second full length album and clearly Jacob's considerable songwriting talent has matured. Again helped by the always reliable production of Sheffield's Resound Media crew, Jacob's high, sinuous voice delivers these engaging songs of divine love and holy reflection. I particularly enjoyed the haunting, mid tempo "More Than Enough" while elsewhere, thanks in part to a rolling acoustic accompaniment the young songsmith is even able to offer a song called "Rhythm Of The Raindrops" without the listener wanting to barf. I suppose it is going to be a difficult road ahead for such a young talent once his voice breaks. But such is Jacob's strong melodic ability I've a feeling we'll be hearing more of Jacob's songs in the years ahead.

This seems a fairly harsh review. One the one hand it seems
to be liked but on the other Tony seems to feel the need to
point out any potential issues that the listener may have. I
would like to ask Cross Rhythms why none of the tracks made
it to airplay?
