J E Jones is not new to the music industry having once been a music industry mogul working with such acts as P Diddy, Mary J Blige and Mary Mary. Now Mr Jones steps up to the mic himself for his debut gospel album. "It's Your Life" is a self reflecting track that instructs you on how to live your life. With its very obvious urban sound and youthful beats it is a winning dance floor filler. "The Turnaround" is a slower paced song on which a yearning Jones demonstrates a strong faith and a belief that things will change for the better featuring a chorus of male singers and a female singer. There is a choir backed approach on the mellow "Hope You Show Up". The haunting female vocals on "I'm Coming Out" grab your attention on a ballad that deviates a little from the style of the other tracks on this project. The album is obviously aimed at youth with urban tastes.
