This is the latest in the Integrity Instrumentals series that is designed (according to the album sleeve) to minister to one's spiritual needs, and the formula is as before, orchestral arrangements of favourite praise and worship songs giving over an hour of seamless music. I know most of these songs from the old Hosanna! live worship series of albums, in fact, there's nothing on the track list later than 1989, so there's a definite feeling of deja vu. I found myself (somewhat involuntarily) singing along to "Give Thanks", "God Is My Refuge And My Strength", “How Lovely Is Your Dwelling Place", "Saviour Like A Shepherd Lead Us" and "We Bow Down" (after Twila Paris rather than Viola). No matter that it's beautifully played (albeit with a lot of late 1980s-style keyboards), it's ultimately a tad passionless; perhaps it could minister to my physical needs by helping me to get to sleep last thing at night.
