The startling fact that the Imari Tones are a Japanese band playing full on Christian metal is bound to attract interest. Although this is a rather rough and ready recording made at Studio Back Beat in Minamisoma, located only 15 miles away from Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant (hence the album's title), this makes up in sheer raw enthusiasm what it lacks in musical subtlety. Clearly the band are growing in expertise and though they have some way to go before they could be serious competition to Stryper et al, the passion conveyed in songs like "Victory" and "Dying Prophet" make this an album impossible to dislike.
