This, for me at least, is Hosanna! with a difference. The, at times, loosely connected medleys are replaced by a strong theme: the overt trimphalism by a greater sensitivity. Throughout 'Firm Foundation' John Chisum, worship leader/songwriter, develops the theme of healing through worship; that as we "celebrate what Jesus accomplished at the cross...we can receive the restoration, healing and forgiveness of God." Musically, there are no real surprises, simply the quality of playing we've come to expect. But the songs themselves are well worth checking - "Healing Grace", "Unto You", "I Offer My Life", "We Will Meet You There". If, like me, you've grown tired of the Hosanna! series then it's time to try again.

Firm foundation is one of the great praise and worship album. Medlyes from firm foundation to o mighty cross are songs that really blessed me up to this day. Songs that will never fade in the heart of a true and unconditional worshipper. We need to learn to make our worship past beyond our expectation of what it is supposed to be. Worship is to God, not to please one's envy or desires... think of it if we were to control worship, where would be God in it? Intergity music has blessed my life since the time I got born again in 1992 and there music actually helped me as a worship leader to be at the same time simple and extravagant, jumping or on my knees, to be a genuine and true according to God's heart. Please put it back on market as i wish i could bless many who never heard of this album. I still sing this songs in my church or home cell group, ...inmy intimate time, wow!!! it's been a long way!
