Tom Inglis leads the proceedings at a live worship session at Rhema Church, Johannesburg. Really is a highly dynamic set of that glorious, sun splashed African music, totally irresistible when it's really moving. It's all there, a pounding rhythm section, great, full bodied vocal chorale, blazing brass section, all shot through with that flavouring that's uniquely African. Few things in music cause the goosebumps produced by that cavernous, rumbling vocal thundering that flows, surges, then erupts into a colourful vocal firework display. Guest ensembles Lazarus And The Holy Drifters and the superb Drakensberg Boys Choir perform wonders on the most outstanding track "We Are One Body", sung in four languages. When can we have albums from these two groups? I found Inglis a touch intrusive here and there, but a minor quibble that must not detract from a powerful album.
