Originally recorded and released in Australia for Christmas 2000, we've waited a year for this to be released in the UK and was it worth it? Well actually you have to hand it to Hillsong, their releases are always top quality and here the church's writers turn their attention to the message of Christmas. You get 14 songs with just less than 50% traditional carols. All the classics are here like "Silent Night", "Hark The Herald", "Come All Ye Faithful", etc, etc, but presented in slick style. Mixed into all this is new Christmas material that perfectly captures and expresses the message of Christmas and as a church dedicated to worshipping God, it's no surprise that there's a strong thread of adoration running through all of this. Best summed up as a Christmas worship album and a good one at that.
