This 2012 album shows Hannah to be one of Britain's unheralded singer/songwriters with a sweet soprano voice as gentle as thistledown. Enveloping arrangements from her producer husband Latty bring lots of dramatic synth embellishments and occasional hints of Celtic-tinged melodrama to Hannah's minor key compositions. There isn't really an earworm gem on this set and non-fans may find a similarity of mood and sound a little exhausting over a whole album. If you enjoyed 2003's 'Hold Me' and 2008's 'Falling' but never caught up on 'Beyond Your Skin', this is an album to locate.
