Terrence Ford aka God Frame is a rapper, singer and producer out of Atlanta, Georgia. Musical from a young age, he found that as his musical talents expanded, so did his love for God. Using what he describes as "melodically rapping and singing over a variety of genre-bending pop rap beats" his story overcoming fatherlessness, pornography, addictions and suicidal thoughts are now used to help people understand their identity and purpose through the Gospel. 'Hello Jesus' is his first full project since 2014 and aims to show people how easy it is to communicate with God. The album is indeed diverse and genre-bending but throughout production is high, the lyrics uncompromising and the quality unrelenting. We journey from the honesty of the title track to a bouncing party track in "La Vida Libre". This infectious cut has gone on to make the xRhythms playlist. Elsewhere there are dirty south vibes on "I'm Alive" and the powerful and pop-infused "Be Anything" features the memorable couplet "In the arms of the King/You can be anything." Through the album, GodFrame is personal and accessible lyrically and you can feel his heart, God's heart, infusing the whole album ("King Of Hearts"). He's also not afraid to dig deep into fatherhood (the spoken word of "Padré"), into culture, fears and addictions in songs like "Aquafina" and 'Wait On Jesus"). This is an album and artist deserving to be heard.
