Hampshire-based Glo describe their music as "grit-pop" which seems a pretty good description to these ears. Hooky songs, tightly arranged, and harmonies on the chorus yet with enough rock guitar grit to keep rock fans interested. I liked the soaring guitar riff on "As I Am", I liked the telling lyrics on "Flesh & Blood". This six song EP ably overcomes a small budget and clearly this is another band of musicianaries who mean business. Check them out.
