With strong guitars and bass from the start, this is a solid pop album with some edgy rock moments. Colorado-based Packiam's raw, unpolished vocals convey plenty of passion while the opening track "This Is Our God" features some tasty lead guitar played by Jeremy Redmon. In fact, the standard of guitar work doesn't slip at all throughout the album. "My Saviour Lives" is an uplifting track that rejoices in the reality of knowing Jesus while Jeff Quimby's drum fills on this track are quality, even if he could have hit the kit harder in places. All the songs have biblically sound lyrics while Packiam's version of Paul Baloche's "Your Name" is arguably better than the original. In general, 'Rumours And Revelations' is a modern worship album you could listen to over and over again.
