If you’ve been longing for something that has the timeless blues rock drive of a Gary Moore or a ZZ Top here’s the album for you, though with no UK outlet currently for Grrr Records (a scandal!) it’s an album you’ll need to buy via the web. Since the Resurrection Band called it a day in 1998 Glenn has found a new creative lease of life with drummer Ed Bialach and long-time Rez Band bassist Roy Montroy, helped out here by a couple of dazzling guests, US axe hero Rick Derringer and Dave Beegle, leader of the critically acclaimed Christian rock band Fourth Estate. This is magnificent, bluesy stuff, sufficiently down in the alley to satisfy all his long in tooth blues fans, sufficiently rock ‘n’ roll to enliven all those who fancy a bit of air guitar and sufficiently forthright with the message of Jesus of Nazareth to bring light to the darkest heart. Of its type a stone classic.
