This two-CD set comprising 36 tracks represents excellent value for money. The first CD ‘My Hits’ contains all of Glen’s major pop and country hits, including “Wichita Lineman”, “By The Time I Get To Phoenix”, “Galveston”, “Gentle On My Mind”, “Honey Come Back”, and the Gospel-tinged “Try A Little Kindness”. There are two duets with Bobby Gentry – “Let It Be Me” and “All I Have To Do Is Dream” (both originally recorded by the Everley Brothers), his reworking of the old Conway Twitty hit “It’s Only Make Believe” and his two monster hits “Southern Nights” and “Rhinestone Cowboy”. The ‘Love Songs’ CD comprises some popular love songs with orchestral accompaniment and this includes some popular religious tracks “I Believe”, “The Impossible Dream” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. There is also a re-recording of “Let It Be Me” with his daughter Debby who accompanied him on his recent UK tour. Altogether, I found this a very entertaining package and a very nice souvenir from his recent tour.
