This album has reached near legendary status as Geth Rose fans and UK headbangers generally have waited and waited and waited for its release. Now here at last it is and what a scorcher. To my ears - still throbbing after three full volume plays - it's the best British heavy rock/metal album since that now long gone era when Kingsway were releasing White Metal albums. Seasoned producer Paul Hodson is emphatic that this is his best ever work and I won't argue. Magnificently meaty guitar work, gutsy vocals, some unexpected delicate harmonies {like on the haunting "Tears Of Tomorrow" which also features a cello or something in the stunning mix), vivid and inventive songwriting from Ben Mears and an album that SHOULD be there in the UK record racks. But we'll let that pass as no doubt lovers of raw but supremely tight rock are already trundling down to the Post Office.
