Appearances can be deceiving. The cover of this excellent CD has a moody looking Fros'T giving a hard stare and then what do we find inside? The opening cut is a track that tells us how much he's missing his wife! Clearly he has a soft centre then! In a world where there are so many average holy hip-hop albums, here's one that takes time to do what Christian rap should do - challenge, provoke, question and hit hard! Highlights are "Party Goin' On" which takes in club culture, date rape and murder whilst "Left Behind" is a spiritual response to 9/11 and interpolates thoughts about the rapture. Fros't is candid about his relationships whether that's his family ("Brighter Day") or the record industry ("Actin' Phony"). The album closes with an excellent remix of a track from his debut album "Run" which is given a rocky treatment and features 4th Avenue Jones. Just brilliant! One of the best hip-hop albums of the last 12 months.
