A local church worship team releases a CD that reflects their Sunday morning worship times and these homegrown songs work well presented in a live setting. A cut above the average worship team and with Neil Costello on board to record and mix the tracks, it s no surprise that this has a nice clean sound. Although there isn't anything here, which is groundbreaking, the album is a solid worship album with some good moments. I particularly liked the truths of "Before A Word My Tongue" presented in a laid back fashion and the excellent whistle work or mellow "I Could Run For Miles". Personally the slower stuff seems to work better than louder songs and seems less formulaic than the uptempo songs. The inclusion of the rap tune "C U When U Get There" is, well, erm, interesting! It doesn't really connect as some of the other things collected here. Frontline Church should be commended for taking the step of capturing songs on tape for public consumption and this is enjoyable without being earth shattering.
