Ian Finch was a major creative component of Supervision and now, as a solo, shows he has a rosy future as an excellent singer/songwriter. I particularly liked "Prodigal", a haunting mid-tempo song where his keening vocal is an enigmatic song of loss and return ("Quality goes when truth disappears/And I wonder why I'm looking through tears") though the jangling pop of the title track and the moody, billowing "In The Wind" are memorable too. Production is quality too. I'd expected one-man-and-an-acoustic but these are excellent pop rock arrangements with plenty of Finchley's layered electric guitars to show he's still a bit of a UK axe hero. Expect to hear this on Cross Rhythms radio.

Mr Finch cme from one great band and yet is still as strong
as a solo artist! He produces some deep and to the heart
lyrics which most people can and would be able to relate to.
'When you're not alone' from the song 'Stuggle on' is one of
many resuring lyrics that can only speak the truth when you
have the Lord and your personal saviour! Another example
would be 'I know that if I turn you'll be there and i'll
never have to down again' Christ is there when life gets
dark. Great Voice, Great Lyrics, Great Sound from one Great
Guy of God!
