This second album from the US-based alternative rockers comes almost four years after their stellar debut, 2006's 'The Best Worst-Case Scenario'. That album was very well-received and the four-piece, led by Aaron Sprinkle, who, of course, has become a big-timer producing albums for such Christian rock heavyweights as Anberlin and Kutless. With such calls on his time then it's hardly surprising that it's taken so long to get the second Fair album. It's been well worth the wait. This is a fantastic album, packed with catchy, clever and varied songs that will make you want to listen and listen again. The album moves from fast, guitar based pop-punk like "One Last Time", to piano-led, atmospheric songs like the catchy opener and title track and the extremely memorable "Take Some Risks". With the varying styles and sonically satisfying, state-of-the-art production 'Disappearing World' is one of the most impressive projects ever to emerge from the talented Mr Sprinkle.
