Now in their 11th year, this is American group FFH's third release on Essential and 10th album in all. Taking their trademark acoustic-tinged pop style one step further through some slick Nashville production, this collection of predominantly catchy and upbeat numbers portrays their skill in evangelising through song. Energy is the keyword from the start with "Watching Over Me" and "Fly Away" promising much. Unfortunately, some weak lyrics and a resemblance between songs hampers the enjoyment factor to some extent, despite some engaging musical surprises and production quirks throughout. The beautiful "Before It Was Said" and the moving title track (focusing on fatherly regret following divorce) show a deeper and more contemplative side to an obviously talented and God-centred band.
