From the dingy CD cover and sleeve to the thudding, badly produced music inside, there isn't a lot going for this CD. I have to confess that I loved the poppy effort of the previous line up of Saltmine Trust's Exalt but this latest effort isn't doing them any favours. It's all a shame really. The singing is cool, but in places the rapping is poor and the whole thing feels thrown together rather than containing any great conviction. Although they have gone for an underground garage/R&B/dance sound this seldom works as the production sounds thuddy and poor throughout. The result is an album that sounds cliched, dated and although I wouldn't argue with the message or the ministry, I have to question the artistry.
