I could see Everyday Sunday being Relient K Mk II (front cover of CD is orange, with one band member wearing flip-flops). Well I wasn't quite right. A good musical comparison to make is the Dum Dums. The songs are quite raw sounding while showing off top production values. Highlights for me are "Mess With Your Mind" and "Sleeper". Lead singer Trey Pearson has a rather pleasing rough edge to his voice, which for my money adds some depth to the songs. It made me take back my Relient K comment, anyway. The music is mature and clearly deeper in sentiment than your average pop punk fare. I'd say that Everyday Sunday is a band to watch out for providing they lose the flip-flops and the Volkswagen van. I should say also that I don't have anything against Relient K!
