Having started his own record company there was a considerable pressure on one of Southern gospel's most popular acts to come up with good original material. Many of the songs here were either written by Ernie himself or his fine producer Wayne Haun and it's pleasing to report that they are well above average. The album opens with a rousing version of the traditional "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" before we are introduced to several brand new songs such as the title track and a couple of others. I particularly liked "Love Carried The Cross" and "Sometimes I Wonder" and the very last track, recorded live in Bucharest, Romania, "Any Other Man". Not only is this a powerful new song but the live recording is very inspiring and guaranteed to bring a smile to the face of anybody who has seen the group in concert. This is a top rate release from one of the finest gospel groups around.
