This is British worship leader Ems' debut album. The lady describes her music as "songs that are invitations from his heart to his children" and with her soulful delivery and jazz-tinged accompaniments Ems shows an approach to worship music refreshingly different from the clichéd pop rock template. The lyrics are a powerfully communicated message of the Gospel though the repetitive nature of some of the songs limit their effectiveness. "Cast Your Cares" is the track which moved me the most, reminding me of the importance of not trying to do things in our own strength. It's good to see Integrity Provident investing in fresh worship talent and though this project probably needed tighter production to iron our some of its flaws I am sure that there are believers who will appreciate the heart of this album.

Product Description
Ems explains, “My desire is to show others how they can be the person God intended and go back to their ‘default factory settings’. I like to do this in lots of ways, but in recent days, God has blessed me with songs that are invitations from His heart to his children. I hope that as I speak of my own healing and joy, Heaven’s windows open that truth for many others too.
“I realised some time ago that I had a longing to help others find the beauty and safety of their own relationship with Father God. Mine is more precious to me than any other thing. Everything I do, whether it be through written or spoken word, or through songs, is about people ‘coming home’.
