A long awaited album from ETW who have been producing quality hip hop for many a year. Since their self-produced album 'Let's Stay Together' in 1993, Alliance remixed the single releases and now they're back, with a Coolio meets TLC sounding journey into gangsta style rap. To my ears, this is a delight. In terms of musical quality, this is one of the most secular sounding releases I have ever heard. A full hour of hip hop bliss. The production is top notch and the lyrics? "Now I believe the Church is tryin' to do its best/But we gotta kill wack philosophies and put that pride to rest/Let our mentalities rearrange to some it may be strange/To let God be God for a change." ETW speak to Christians in "Let The Truth Set You Free", gangsters in "Ain't Nobody Dyin' But Us" and men in "Be A Man". If you can stick the Americanisms, this will be in the hi fi for ages. I cannot recommend this highly enough.
