Quite why Alliance, in their questionable wisdom, have decided to release the other Forefront remix singles but not this one is beyond me. It's probably the best of the lot. Anyway, the songs on this single are remixes from the 1993 self-penned, self-produced End Time Warriors' album 'Let's Stay Together'. The title song has been given two remixes, which come complete with a chorus sampled from the old Al Green song of the same name and feature some excellent female vocals. Both the "West Side DC Mix" and the "East Side Flava Mix" get the intended message across well and would sound great on the radio or in a swingbeat club. "40 & A Blunt" is an effective antidrug song, remixed in a jazzy piano style, also very good. Didn't care much for the other track, "Give It Up (Old School From Da Rooftops Mix)", but if well-produced Christian hip hop is up your street, you can't currently buy much better than this. Recommended.
