From the outset, frantic stereo pans herald this five piece from Los Angeles and their in-your-face, stripped down hardcore. Playing together for six years now, Dynasty have developed a style that includes plenty of gang vocals, aggressive screaming and endless energy. At times punk influences can be heard as the onslaught from these 10 tracks never lets up. Coming in at just over 22 minutes they race through the set, hardly stopping for breath. Lyrically Dynasty are equally forthright. "Don't waste your breath unless you speak the truth" and "The cross before me, the world behind me" make two examples of a lyric sheet that could not be mistaken for anything other than a Christian declaration. Blink and you will miss them, but "Worthless Will" and "Demolish Strongholds" are chest thumping rock that sum up the passion of this debut release.
