Bracing like cold morning air, tasting the salt on the sea breeze; the exhilaration of driving with the top down. This seven song project is alternative rock that rises above the rest with breezy, chunky guitars and insistent rhythms that rush over the jaded journalist spirit, leaving it renewed and refreshed. Perhaps it's the inspiration of living in St Albans. Pictures painted with childlike simplicity, painted with knowing subtlety form a pattern in the Soundgarden-esque scape. "She Don't Want Him" is fused with elements of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, yet almost touches on indie fare; while the title track is reminiscent of the Smashing Pumpkins, with its restrained guitars. These slow the pace of the album to something reflective, after the frantic energy of "In The Corner Of My Mind" and "Weird". You can almost see the sea.
