Internationally renowned Doug (Duggie Dug Dug) Horley has produced a small mountain of accessible children's music and this CD gives us another stellar hit. The sleeve cover says it all, "Fun and funky praise and worship for kids!" The arrangements are clinical and musicianship excellent, with Mark Prentice (bass) and Paul Evans (drums) who are considered seasoned professionals on the worship scene. The title track "Chuffed" will surely have kids dancing and shows relevancy with the hooky chorus stating, 'I am chuffed by your great love.' The R&B style opener "Hi5" explores a vibe today's youngsters are accustomed to with the stomping backbeat, similar to the 'High School Musical' songs. There are some real crackers like the 80s style, "So Many Ways We Can Praise The Lord" incorporating the astute lyrics, "But it's not just about the music, worship's so much bigger than that"' The rock 'n' roll "God's Love Is Bigger Than A Burger" incorporates a walking bass, representing Doug's solid writing style, keeping it simple so the message is clear. The ballad, "I Love You" could be sung in any worship context and the directness of the words really hit home. Another on the money offering from Duggie Dug Dug!
