Well written songs, competent arrangements, what sets 'Highest Acclaim' apart from the many MOR praise and worship albums around? Well, the album is just part of the package. The songs featured are part of a 'Shareware Scheme'. The 'Shareware Scheme' will enable the purchaser of the album to receive the sheet music for the songs on the album and any future songs that become available. Thus fostering direct links between the composer and the congregation. So what do you get for your £7.00? 10 very good worship songs presented in a form that will give the listener direct access to the composer in a way that sterilised sheet music could never do. It's a great way to be introduced to and learn new worship songs. I do wish though that the MOR genre would allow for more 'joie de vivre' though. It's almost as if 'niceness' is the great leveller.
