In the award-obsessed insular bubble of the London urban gospel scene this group are a fairly big deal but in truth the five guys, two girls who comprise Divine Impact will need a much better recording than this to make it to the next level. "Be Still" is an attempt to fuse some jazz chords with a gospel message but is let down by a poor lead vocal from Alex Boateng and a spoken Scripture passage which puts the whole thing out of synch. "I Need You" with a lead by Domi Saheed is much better but still lacks production focus and it's only the smooth harmonies and languid mood of "Holy" which sounds attractive though even that fades out in the middle of a guitar solo. British urban gospel needs stronger releases than this one.
