This album stems from 1991 and like others in the Heartcry series sticks to a format of a spoken introduction then going into the songs, some of which were quite long and became a tad tedious. There needed to be some development during the arrangements to relieve the monotony. I especially disliked the synth brass sounds which on occasions sounded like bleating sheep. As the album progressed Dennis Jernigan took a stronger lead up front which is not a bad thing as he has a pleasing voice, sometimes sounding like Steve Green. You could also tell through his performance that he really believes in what he is singing about. The songs themselves I do not think will easily fit into worship services due to the length and nature of the songs.
