Yeehaw! Three songs into this album and we get terrible country praise and I'm reaching for my stetson and the spittoon to throw up into. Twee this is! Shame actually, because everything started off so well with the very jolly "Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord" - upbeat and some nice guitar. Apart from the disastrous detour into Dolly Parton territory, Jernigan proves that he's a decent songwriter and this album is pleasantly put together. But that's about it! This isn't anything new, just nice. So if you're into nice albums, this will do nicely. "I Throw My Heart To The Wind" is a nice ballad inviting the worshipper to allow the wind of the Spirit to blow through their life and blow away the sin. Nice idea! Jernigan gives you 13 of his brand new nice songs, his voice is strong, clear, pure and erm...nice. The arrangements are nice, the singing is nice, the playing is nice, even the cover for the CD is nice. A thoroughly nice album, listen to it and it'll make you feel nice. As a confirmed reader of small print, I think any album which has someone called Blaine Womble playing percussion is worth keeping. Nice one!
