This has to be the best live worship album I've heard for a long time. The recording has successfully caught the atmosphere of what must have been a truly moving worship concert. Dennis Jernigan might suggest that he was only one of the musicians on the night, but the quality and content of his songs is world class. Each musician in the group did their own arranging and this shows in the passion, power and musicianship of the album. There is no "formula" to the worship, but an overall expression of God's gifts of worship. There is integrity. will all the musicians and singers contributing all their gifts, rather than just supporting Dennis. The music cannot be pinned to any particular style, only that which most complements the content of the lyrics. So the range is from piano ballads and duets to the title track which has all the energy of a rock concert. I'm struggling to express my thoughts on this album, but with more and more CCM seemingly recorded for its market potential rather than its spiritual content this album feels refreshingly honest.
