The third CD from a North Carolina-based singer/songwriter who'd previously worked with the group One Accord. This is Dennis as "one-man band" as he shows off his ample talent, taking both lead and backing vocals while playing all the instruments on this four-song EP dedicated to the memory of his late mother. When I say four-song, it has to be said that you only get three songs, as the title track, apparently Dennis' mother's favourite, is available in two versions, both amply showing off Dennis's great voice in a soulful performance of a love song to Jesus. The EP opens with "Two Wings", a very well crafted track on which Dennis manages to sound like a multi-member soul group. The third of the songs "In The Hands Of God" has a more traditional gospel sound and is a call to prayer. Impressive stuff.
