The date is February 1993 and producer Terry Taylor (DA) is armed with a 24 track recorder and a band called Deliverance. He is attempting to cover a new angle of live recording, by recording first takes of songs that the band have chosen. He tried to capture the whole atmosphere, even down to their laughter, improvised solos and fret buzz. The band themselves were armed with one instrument on effects unit and an amp. The songs Deliverance chose were five of their own - "The Call", "No Time", "This Present Darkness", "Stay Of Execution" and "No Love". And they included a cover of Stryper's "Surrender" (better than the original). Even with all the roughness, the outcome is absolutely fabulous.
