There seems to be something in the water up north these days counting the number of Christian punk bands up "tut" north. ‘Rebel’, Decapolis’ freshman release, has an interesting old school punk feeling leaving the melodic punk of fellow punk Northerners Zedisforzebra for a harder sound. It is refreshing while lyrically they prefer to hint at Jesus without mentioning his name. "Rebel" portrays the Lord as a rebel which is often forgotten in our little Jesus meek and mild Christianity, and "Pictures Of A Greater Guy" is a punchy portrayal of God's magnitudel. This shows a band that will use their talents for God, which is good. Yes, the production is not the best. But this is PUNK, people, so give them a break.
