Great classic ccm lp to have! Recorded on the well -
known Pat Boones' "Lamb & Lion" label. One thing that the
listener will note is that, not every song has those common
ccm lyrics as newcomers to the ccm genre usually portray in
every song: especially during the late 70's era. I love the
opening # for side 1, "EMMANUEL"; rockin' ccm comes to life
on radio airplay. The nearly 6 minute title track grabs the
listener; tho' it contains no real ccm lyrics.
I really like their recording of "Wayfaring Stranger"; it is
considered public domain because the copyright had expired
per the net. You can hear a touch of the pop group Styx in
the lengthy intro, and throughout the pop styled "Too Far,
Too Gone". "Alleyways of
Strife" is a highly commendable song; great chorus to the
song! GOD Bless! - Don
