The David's Tent events, in the past held immediately after the Big Church Day Out at Wiston Estate, West Sussex, have drawn thousands of people into a deeper experience of God, and the twelve tracks here make for an inspirational album. Recorded live at David's Tent 2018, it features some anointed worship leaders from both the US and the UK and a great technical team, who have delivered this album with no studio overdubs. It kicks off with a taste of the spontaneous worship, leading into the well-known "Build My Life", led by America's Pat Barrett and Kirby Kaple themselves. If I had to pick a favourite track it would be "Look To Jesus", written and led by Samuel Lane; reflective, soulful, passionate; the simplest of chord structures are often the strongest, with that lead guitar thrilling over the top. I was glad to see the incomparable Kevin Prosch's "So Come" paired with "All Who Are Thirsty" - makes the heart leap. Female worship leaders are under-represented, but Lucy Grimble sings her "Great Redeemer" and Kirby Kaple of Housefires sings "Open Space". An album still well worth searching out.
