Over the past few years UK Christians have benefited from the introduction from abroad of many exciting new artists, and by no means amongst the least of these is Australian David Evans. Anyone who has had the privilege of being pre­sent at any of David's live performances al Cross Rhythms Devon or Roots & Branches festivals will have experienced the powerful anointing God has placed upon his ministry and this album, containing over an hour of music, goes a long way to capturing the spiritual dimension of those performances. It is impossible to single out any of the nine tracks for special mention; each piece flows naturally into the next, rather like the different movements contained within a symphony. The album lives up lo it's sub-title 'A Call To Intimacy as, throughout, David creates some marvellous musical soundscapes which take the discerning listener on a journey into the very heart of God. This recording makes no effort to entertain, it's sole purpose is to minister. One of the most breathtakingly original worship recordings ever released.
