Shock horror, this is a rare thing, a live worship album that really sounds live! The former Clapton sidekick releases ramshackle praise album in loose blues style. Now playing bass as he leads a congregation in prophetic Prosch-style. Markee and congregation are clearly enjoying themselves on this exuberant outing which highlights the outrageously good guitar playing of the Neil Howell. In the current mood of things where Noel Richards can rock out with a bit of Hammond atmosphere, there is definitely room for this kind of praise album even it it is a little, ahem, how shall we put it? Erm, rough around the edges! But don't let that put you off! Markee may not have a great voice - and there are a few moments particularly on the slower songs where lovers of polished vocals will wince - but overall Dave has enough blues growl to get away with it! Quite a bit to enjoy if you like your praise times rough and ready and your music flavoured with fluid guitar.
