Two years ago Ms Maclean emerged with a great debut album that showed she had strong soulful vocal chops and placed them within a compelling pop/R&B/jazzy setting and the result was an album that grabbed the attention of fans and critics alike. Some critics have felt that this followup is a bit "safe" and "radio friendly" but such is the quality of the production from the always reliable Paul Mabury and the quality of the songs, mainly penned by Mabury, Jason Ingram and Dara herself that its an album you'll be hearing on Cross Rhythms radio for quite a while. Top song is "Step Into The Light" which has an infectious groove and memorable melody while the opener "Wanted" and the grow-on-you "Love Is" both work well. If your ears are atuned to well crafted Nashville pop this is an album well worth chasing down.
