Another of the rave releases from the States that serves to emphasise the huge gulf between us and them in their ability to release things truly contemporary. Dance House Children are two guys committed to expressing their faith through computer generated rave. Several tracks are worthy of a 'hardcore' tag, but it must be said that many others (of the fifteen) don't quite have the energy required, and some even sound like they've been extracted from the same sample. The other drawback is that the album is lyrically banal, despite the explicit title and sleevenotes. It is highly encouraging that Dance House Children exist at all, but they have not yet managed to combine the medium and the message quite as well as Deitiphobia or Code Of Ethics. But keep at it guys.
