Any recording which leads us into a prayerful contemplation of the life, death and mission of Jesus Christ is of tremendous value. This particular recording is one of a number of audio aids in this traditionally Roman Catholic form of prayerful meditation, whose intention is just so. The purpose of the Rosary is frequently misunderstood; carefully considered cover notes help explain how the central person in this prayer is Jesus Christ and not Mary. Although superficially this cassette may sound like a monotonous repetition of set prayers the real value of the Rosary is the individual's ability to contemplate the mysteries of the faith which lie beneath these prayers. Turning to the recording, the only way to review such an album is to participate. Like many praise and worship albums it took me a while to become comfortable with the style of audio presentation. At first I found the music behind the prayers a distraction but latterly this became a help and I found myself joining in with Dana as she sang "Come Holy Spirit..." at the end of the mystery. I'm sure many Christians will benefit from this recording though the squeaky chair at the end of the fifth reading may not be to everybody's taste.

I had once obtained a copy of this very prayerful Rosary. Is a copy available and have the Mysteries of Light been included?
