It sounds like it was a smart move, ol' Cliff getting himself off to Nashville to record. Predictably, there's no trace of the "new country" sound of the pre-publicity but there is a snappy production by top CCM producer and bass maestro Tommy Sims while the acoustic guitar by Michael Ripoll is top drawer too. The song itself, written by Marcus Hummon, Steve Mandile and David Mullen (Nichole's husband) is a catchy mid-tempo thing about it never being too old to fall in love, with the hook "God, you'll have to show me why this is not our time/When all the evidence is sayin' something is goin' on." Welcome back to the charts, Cliff.
