South London-based husband and wife duo Clif and Marie Reid have both been involved in various gospel projects around Britain and were part of gospel group Redeemed. This debut single, inspired by a phrase from the old standard "Blessed Assurance", mixes gospel, pop and rock with a bit of R&B thrown into the pot for good measure. It's well produced - although they seem to have tried to include as many effects and styles as possible - and is very catchy. There's a great deal of confidence in the performance and it's an uplifting first attempt. An album is on the way.
